I was wondering if anyone knew when the JuCo world series was? I was wondering if anyone that I work with here in SoCal was working it. Also is it being broadcast on TV at all?

It started May 23.

Thanks Michael. I saw that on the NJCAA page that Bob sent me to. However I noticed that there was not any california schools listed on the school list and only a hand full of schools in the Oregon/Washington area that are on that list.

I was wondering if there was a different championship those teams play in?

Yeh, found that stuff on the NJCAA site but still nothing about the JCs in california, Oregon and Washington.

i'm guessing they didn't make it then.

definitely a possibility (though I would doubt it... usually you will see at least ONE team from CA in there somewhere). When I looked up the member schools on the site not one in CA came up.

We hosted the DIII South Regional in town this year. It is the second time we have hosted. Both times our local school was in it but didn't fair well. They won the DIII CWS a few years ago.

I believe the DIII WS is held in the Hampton Roads area of VA currently and it rotates every few years. I could be wrong, but I believe my association covered it at the Apprentice School in Newport News...

Got an answer to my question on the other site regarding the California schools. We just have to be different in everything huh? Look at our way of handling HS sports. We dont have a state association... we have regional associations.

well i finally got hold of my assignor and he was not only there he was crew chief!! way to go mike!!
