The Man in Blue Posted August 15 Report Posted August 15 I'm going with illegal and citing: From this position any natural movement associated with his delivery of the ball to the batter commits him to the pitch without interruption or alteration. But then, I am the guy who thinks we let them get away with too many stupid games without awarding stupid prizes. Quote
BigBlue4u Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 Unusual, however I believe a case could be made that, in his case, he is not committed to pitch until he moves his left foot which then becomes part of his pitching motion. If, later, he started swinging his arms, then delivered a pitch, I would call a balk because he changed his delivery making the swinging of his arms a part of his delivery motion. Quote
