dumbdumb Posted April 1 Report Posted April 1 ref taken off final four watch both from beginning to end. was already ejected this season, but not for this one remember, was he taken off for not enforcing a contact situation when another official did enforce a contact situation this season that the ncaa wants enforced. or. did ncaa think the referee initiated. or do they just dislike the optics. or is he being neutered because of the controversy taking away from the game itself and ncaa doesnt want that talked about and is trying to muzzle that potential situation that would take away from the finals were he to work it in all the hype created about the contact and why an ejected coach or t'd up coach would be talked about prior to the next game. so, are officials being taken off games just do to controversial situations, calls, not that they are right or wrong just due to perceptions and the old perception is reality unfairly. are they taking MLBU off of games for year end controversial calls even if those calls are correct just for all the hoopla they might cause from the press and the social media situation before the upcoming games. so, arent they creating situations for officials to not call balks, check swings, etc and have any controversy before the playoffs, because of the media situation just before the playoffs. oh well, with a probable 300k+ 1099 per year with 100+ games, they are getting into the pockets so to speak of those who run into controversy rather than selecting the best, it is selecting the best and luckiest with having no controversy just before the playoffs. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25413049-dan-hurley-explains-trending-video-referee-exchange-uconns-march-madness-upset-vs-duke Quote
