remember all those articles of umpires should be sent down, or my favorite ' fans call for umpires dismissal/firing pretty much several times a week. what's good for the goose is good for the gander. let's see the punishment, fine, suspension, sent down to MiLB for announcing retraining, or do they handle it behind closed doors, that everyone tends to hate rather than publicly announcing the punishment or non punishment.

Why didn't he just say that?  I can believe that that is actually what happened, but say it.  He went dead silent as if he was having a stroke.

What the hell is wrong with our culture that we don't think we can ever admit in the moment that we don't know, we messed up, or we were wrong?
