HumblePie
Please help. I've been out of the HS game for 6 years, and am possibly ignorant to a rule. Sitch: Player is ejected in the 3rd inning. Coach has no subs on the bench. Camp 1 -- Automatic out for the remainder of the game each time the ejected player's spot comes up. Camp 2 -- Automatic out only once ... the "next" time that player's spot comes up. Is Camp 2 dreaming this up, or has there been a rule change since 2018? The Man in Blue
Worked with a rookie yesterday . . . I'm betting that Camp 2 crowd is the same one that taught my Rookie that the DH could only bat three times, and then the player he was hitting for had to bat for himself after that. I have no clue. No clue whatsoever. Welcome back to the Dirt Circus, @HumblePie!
