I am reposting from last year. This is a brand new  XL Wilson MLB Pro Gold 2 chest protector. I thought of changing from my Platinum, but ultimately stayed with it. I purchased it for $239 plus tax. I am asking $210 and includes shipping in the US.

That appears to be the grey padding, which is the newer padding and it is slightly thinner than the original Gold.  It's still 3/4" thick - but at least it's not an inch anymore.
