Second-year umpire here. LL, Legion, and travel ball so far in my CV. Looking to start HS games next season.

Arch, you are ALWAYS so polite.

@834k3rit's *really* a command - "Don't Suck."  It's not fair, but you're expected to be pretty much perfect from the jump.

Well we tell each other "try not to suck"   If anyone says have a good game or good luck.... UGH!  thats it there will be blood in the water...

Our local UIC says it best in my opinion: “Don’t suck, and if you do, do it consistently.”
