Cobalt Skull Cap Showing Wear

Has anyone used the Cobalt Skull Cap in enough games to comment on how the finish holds up with use? Just pulled it out of the box and tested with mask and it just doesn't look like the finish is going to last.

I have a similar concern.  I just used it in the house to try out which mask harness I'll want to use on it (a traditional All-Star or an All-Star Delta Flex), and just doing that has scratched it up some.  Functionally it will be fine I'm sure - but not sure about the sand grit; hopefully it won't look to scratched as to be unprofessional. (I do want to add that other than this concern I love the feel and fit far more than any skullcap I tried. Can't wait to use it this season!)
