NJ Hawaii game suspended Sunday?

Sunday's Midwest-West game was suspended due to lightning in the top of the fifth with one out and West ahead 6 - 0. My reading of the rules would be if they could not continue that night it would be a called regulation game with West the winner. But LL resumed the game Monday. What gives? Hawaii was home.

Yes, the only change from regular season to tournament is there is no reversion if the visiting team ties or takes the lead. That is not what happened but I think they made a judgement that if they followed the rule and continued the game that day after the lightning threat or called the game at curfew or when they decided they couldn't resume at that field both teams would be left waiting at the field and miss the MLB game. Technically LL violated it's rules but both teams were ok with it so no protest, no problem.
