Saw PU take a fastball to the neck tonight.

LL Majors game, new pitcher, hardest thrower in our league, supposedly clocked at 68 mph, throwing from 46'.

catcher is all of 4' 10" and maybe 85 lbs, defiantly afraid of the pitcher.  They were going to,change him out but the delay was too long and kept the little guy in. 

High heater and I don't think F2 even got any leather on it and BAM!!! Left side of PU's neck has taken the pitch straight on.  We had him sit in the dugout for a bit, nurse on site checked him out, gave him some ice for the bruise.  Props to him, he finished the next 5 outs to complete the game.
