I got to work 6A HS playoffs on Friday/Saturday ... 4-man...lots of fun. Sunday, I was back working travel ball (daddy coaches) doing 11U bracket play. My partner and I were chatting between inning and he saw a kid from the 3B side start to enter the dirt circle around HP during warm-up pitches. My partner..."Hey, WHOA, WHOA, back up, back, keep going"...the kid complies. I notice his coach starts walking towards us and I say to my partner, "Bet you a dollar that this guy says something really stupid". My partner says, "no bet". Coach goes to my partner and says, "when you talk to my players, can you be more respectful". I said, "good no bet", and left them chuckling.
