I am new to having to keep up with the lineup cards for both teams and got one of the wallets for the cards.  My problem is that my pen goes through the paper as i write and i need to figure out a quicker way to document.  Any suggestions?

Cut out a small piece of plastic or other hard material and glue/secure to the holder.

Instant desk.

Thanks...I will try to find something around the house to do that.  just didn't think this would be a problem with the nicer wallet.

You could use a felt pen versus a sharp pencil or ball point.

The holders I use/have used have not been so soft that I am cutting through the paper.

Sound like someone talking about the mods on their motorcycle or lifted truck.

yes...I got it and i think the big thing is that the coaches around here use the cheap "Dick's Sporting Goods" lineup cards and they don't fit the wallet without folding them up and then trying to write on the folded cheap paper.

Just got one of those Line Up Card Holders from Ray, it's the ticket... contact him at rbumpire37@gmail.com.

It's big enough to write without the issues, but small enough to put away properly too. Perfectly designed to avoid the fumbling and folding.

i am using a Line Up Holder from Ray...the cards i get are bigger than the holder so i have to fold the cards and my pen goes through.

Ask the coach for the hard copy of the card. They should be writing hard enough to make it all the way through.
