That's a clinic that's really close to home as far as clinics go and another one I'd like to attend. Was that high school age kids playing or college? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

It was a good clinic for sure - can't recommend it enough. The games I worked were mostly HS kids. I think I heard 1 or 2 fields had JuCo showcase games.

This game though, a 22-1 nail biter, was a 13U team playing up against a 16U team.

13U's took them to the woodshed, huh?  :P

Oh man it was by far the worst game I have ever worked. But, having a AA ball umpire, and a few D1 umpires evaluating everything you do, tweaking mechanics, picking out the little things. . So valuable.

I was also at the clinic. I worked a 9 innning Juco showcase game behind the plate on Sunday. It was really fun with great instruction. I learned a lot about the three man system. My field was actually short on umpires the second day so got lots of reps in.

I think the two man one in Springfield would be the better choice for you. This one is great, but more for people wanting to get into college and learn the three man system.

Ah lucky you. I was really hoping to work higher level games. I haven't worked below 16U since the spring - the kids seemed so small.

What complex were you at? Sunday would have been a rough day to go 9 though. I was really tired.

I was at the 3 & 2 complex Sunday field #1. I was exhausted also and then did more base work after my game. We had 4 games with 4 umpires Sunday. I worked with some great umpires though so they made it easy on me.
