Moments before...

Out of all of the pictures my father took that I'm still trying to get from him, here's one.

This was taken about two minutes before they arrived and it was captioned in my father's Twitter feed as "You don't see this every day."

I didn't know my emotions could change so radically so fast.

Also, that cement was HOT. I picked my glove up off it to go back into the stadium and it stung. (All black mitt.)

I look so bored. My father says the moment they arrived and I turned to look at him, I had the most terrified and gleeful face he had ever seen and he'd never seen me that happy.
