I recommend investing in yourself with "Maximizing the two umpire system". Cheaper than any clinic with world-class content. I will plug these 2 videos on some plate work as this person on our board will probably not put them on, since it would look like some self-promotion. No, I am not shilling for this group either. I just thought it would be a nice look at some plate work from a camp. Please forgive the guy who did the video. He was dropped on his head as a child and never quite recovered.

 

Notice the timing used behind the plate.

 

In the 2nd film at the :48 mark, it looks like a 3 time CWS umpire ( from an TV game where this umpire removed his mask) moves into position on the right side to watch and instruct.

 

And yes, at the end you can hear in the background, is he getting set too late, on a couple pitches. Yes (IMHO) from watching the first video, that was what I noticed also (not on all the pitches, but on some), but I cannot quite hear the answer, but I could hear someone asking the question.

here is one from MRBUA with some field work. As others have cautioned, make sure you ask exactly how those leading your area want things performed in the field. This video will at least give you some idea, although things may be a little different from area to area, and as long as you know what they are you can adapt.
