New Balance 460s or Reebok Zigs

Ok I ended up calling Ump Attire. After talking to them, I decided to go with an 11EEEE. I wear a normal 11EE. And there suggestion with the 11EEEE is with swelling after working a couple of games, I would be very happy. I will let you all know.

Got my shoes today and tried them on. Boy do they feel great. I have a DH on Sunday so I will get to try them out. But already I like them better than the 450's.

Just got my 460s on Saturday and used them behind the dish today. Let me say these are awesome. I was skeptical to go to NB after using reebok most of my umpiring career. But my feet felt great after a 2:30 high school game. Very easy to clean. Very very good shoe.

Okay...after 4 games my all black Zigs Base Shoes size 10 finally stopped acting too narrow and were comfortable for a whole game. I did take the strings out, put my foot back in them and then restrung them. Much better. Just a suggestion. I also did a lot of bending of them to get them looser. 

 

Now if I can figure out how to keep the dirt out of the zig-zag part. It creates an extra cleaning step....oh well I will figure that part out and report back....

 

 

Guess I will keep them but jury is still out if they are more comfortable than my Reebok football equipment shoes which I also used for baseball. They came out along with the Magistrates and are the most comfortable shoe I have. I just bought the Zigs because I got them for $50

Clean them well and spray the soles with spray silicone.
