I'm moving up in the umpiring world! Next season I'll be a town league umpire no longer, as I'll be working as a junior umpire for the area chapter of the state association :) I'm looking to upgrade my gear (I've asked some questions already) and I was wondering if anybody has things they'd like to get rid of. Preferably, I'm looking for new or like new condition.

 

I have a fairly extensive list. If you have something, please PM me (I like pictures). It's the middle of midyear season, so I might not be able to get back to you for a few days.

 

Things I need:

  • black shirt (non-MLB style) - M
  • powder blue shirt with red/navy stripe - M  Hoping shirts will be <$20-25 On edit - each
  • Navy jacket with red/white stripes - M Hoping for <$50
  • Chest protector - 13 inch - hoping somebody has a hardshell they're looking to get rid of. GTGAC - Going to get a champion
  • Plate shoes - Size 10 Hoping to pay <$75
  • Base shoes - I have Mizuno running shoes and love them, but would be open to other brands. Hoping to pay <$65

Hey catcher, Jax`s has a 13' Douglas for sale new style on ebay. There are a few others on there as well. I sure you will have no problem finding good!! ump eqpt. here!!.

Hey catcher, Jax`s has a 13' Douglas for sale new style on ebay. There are a few others on there as well. I sure you will have no problem finding good!! ump eqpt. here!!.

Look for a Champion hardshell (P200/P210/P220) - they are all over the auction site.  I bought one a few years ago on a "Best Offer" for something like $35 brand new with free shipping.  It's no Douglas, but for the money it is a great entrance into the world of decent protection.

 

Apologies to @JaxRolo, offering him another alternative since your Douglas is out of his price range.

 

OP - good luck finding Mizuno plate shoes, I would look for a pair of Reebok or New Balance....

I don't understand either.

 

I didn't list suggested prices because I was going to let anyone make an offer and then decide - I have trouble making decisions and like to keep my options open. I'll go back and list them. 

 

About the Mizuno plate shoes - I currently wear Mizunos, so I listed what size I am in those because I know they run small. I'm not looking for Mizunos, just looking for shoes that fit.

Hello again: I might pick up a powdercoated mask from @Jocko, and if I do I'll need pads and a harness. I'm interested in the All-Star leather pads and the All-Star synthetic pads and I was hoping somebody bought an mask and has some lying around. The all-star harness would also be preferable.

Hey catcher, if you have'nt purchased the champion cp yet, see boyinr's post were he is selling his gear. $90 is a heck of a price for that All Star system 7 cp. Remember the 12" steps down at the ribs and the cover length is actually 13".
