I wear Magistrates on the plate and the bases. I find that the plate shoes are true to size and the base a little smaller (but still OK). Love those shoes - went from the +POS and find my feet and back don't hurt after a game.

As far as mid, high or low cut - I like the low cut, but I think it is personal preference.

Mid cut keep your socks cleaner on a dusty field.

I've worn POS, NB, Magistrates and Zigs, and prefer Zigs because they are the lightest.
