I agree with everything many said except for the last sentence of his post. I can think of several things that are more exciting than being in the zone. LOL...I'm afraid to ask.

 

I was referring to the game particulars. Being in the zone is a plate umpires euphoria.

So, you're saying I should start a new thread asking for our members to list things more exciting than "being in the zone?"

You're right though, it is a good feeling to walk off the field knowing that you called a great game.

Just to be clear from what i've read.... on obstruction in FED rules, the ball is never immediately dead, correct? You always wait till the end of the play and always award the obstructed runner at least one base, right?
