2nd in Two Games

MSBL 45+ this afternoon, I'm PU for HT (2nd place in league) vs VT (1st place).  HT is known to bitch and moan, VT is normally well-behaved.  Game starts out well, then HT starts whining, wants me to call a zone the size of Texas when VT is hitting, and a postage stamp when they're hitting.  

 

Fast forward to the bottom of the 5th, batter steps in and takes a cock shot on the outside half of the plate for a called strike 1.  Here is the rest of our dialogue for the AB:

 

Batter:  (turns around and stares at me) "That's awful, no way that's a strike."  (steps out of the box)

Me:  "There's nothing going on back here.  That was a good pitch, step in the box."  

Batter:  (Ignores me completely)

Me:  "Get back in the box!"

Batter:  (still out of box) "I'll get in the box when I'm damn good and ready."

Me:  "Strike 2!"

Batter:  "Are you serious?  That's ridiculous!" 

Me:  "Absolutely serious, get in the box."

 

Finally, he steps in and swings at the 0-2 pitch at his eyes and pops it up to F4.  On his way back to the dugout, he feels the need to tell me, "You're F*#King terrible!"  BOOM!  He had to be restrained by two teammates while my partner is still standing out in A.

At "I'll get in the box when I'm damn good and ready.", I like that you give him a strike instead of ejecting. Takes his smart ass comment and shoves it right in his face, AND it's perfectly legal in the rules!
