Swing - hit on the hands...

OK.. having a brain cramp here...

 

Batter swings and is jammed and it gets him in the hands.  Dead ball strike.  And here' the brain cramp part... if it's the 3rd strike he is out or foul ball?  And does it matter if we got part bat and part hands?

 

Part B

And if it's a complete whiff and it hits him, still a dead ball strike and if its the 3rd strike he is out. Correct?

No, the Batter swings, the ball hits their hands then hits the bat.  Assuming this is a dead ball strike (not foul).

The batter is swinging, and it hits hand, ouch strike, dead ball. Hits bat, foul ball.. OR, batter's hand is hit in the strike zone, dead ball, strike.

Since it became dead when it touched teh batter, it never hit the bat . . . .
