Hey guys. I've been gone for quite a while now and just getting back on here. I'm now 28, I have sinced seperated from the U.S. Air Force and I'm currently living in Connecticut. I also just got married 2 weeks ago! Loving life for the most part as a college student and working private security. Hopefully I can get back into umpiring soon as well. Although I believe I'm a little late to get back into it this year since most of the associations have had their meetings and training schedules. I've put out my information to them in emails though, so we'll see what happens. I'm looking forward to getting back into the forum as well. Anyway, I'm back!

Thanks! I was a security forces (military police) dispatcher. Did 3 years in Albuquerque, NM, 2 years in Germany, 1 year in Iraq and 6 months in Afghanistan. Happy to be back again and can't wait to get back into umpiring. Sadly I don't think that will be until next year though. Gives me time to brush up on some stuff I suppose. :-)

Doesn't hurt to ask around, maybe some one will be willing to work with you.  And also call phone numbers.  These seem to work more often than email.

Thanks, BigUmpire.

I have done some inquiring cyclone and I'm still continuing to do so. I've made some phone calls as well as the emails. No luck yet, but still going to try until the season's completely done. Until then, I've got my head in the rule books.

I'm also into photography, so I'm planning to get out to shoot some games. Will definitely try to start up some convos with the umpires and see who they work for. See if I can get in this year or not. Never hurts to try. :)
