That, umpire friends, is what we call a Match Penalty.

Brendan Shanahan would have a field day with that one.

IIHF has some aversion to calling penalties after the final whistle (like the NBA with technical fouls). If Delmon Young got his 50 games for throwing a bat in MiLB...

Why did he drill the linesman?  Just becasue he saw the stripes?  Hit the ref, for Christ's sake!  They get paid the big bucks.
