I just purchased the TLS model in black and received it Saturday.  I like the bag but now wondering if I should exchange for the eTech model.  

 

 

The TLS 29" in black, I haven't seen it except for in green and blue but those don't come in until 2/5, is that not what you got?

Actually got lucky and saw a TLS 29 in black last week so I ordered immediately. Went back in and checked a few minutes later and they were no longer listed. Thought it was really strange but I was able to get one.

They look pretty much the same except for the wheels and the 2" zippered extension, depending on your needs you may be better off with the TLS. If there was a black TLS available I would have snatched it up but since the green and blue would generate some jokes around here, I am happy with my purchase of the new Mother Lode 2.0.

My bag should be here Friday (1/25), I thought they said 2/5 is when they ship but no complaints here, Fedex says my bags on the way- just in time for my HS clinic Saturday.

I think the Force 3 is good bag. It is patterned like the Victorinox Swiss army bag that the AAA guys use to use .....

I used the Force 3 bag last season but just recently bought the eBag 29 motherlode. I absolutely love the new eBag. I packed everything for a game today and it holds all my normal stuff and more with ease. I love the dividers in the bottom compartment - the bag is more compact than the Force 3 but holds more gear, if that makes sense. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I currently use a Force3 bag. I had the original Evans bag and had multiple zipper failures during the first 1/2 season that I used it in 2009. When they upgraded it to the Force3 the next year they sent me one for free which I thought was a nice touch. It has been used for the 2010-2013 season. One of the metal zipper pulls bent and broke on the zipper for the bottom compartment earlier this season and the zippers are starting to act a little finicky. But it has been a great bag. No real complaints.

 

I am intrigued by the mother Lode and I am probably going to get one once they restock the Black 2.0. I called today and they don't have a date, but are thinking sometime in May. Any more reviews on the 2.0? I like the warranty. Knowing that I can get a replacement if (when) the zipper fails is a plus. The dividers in the bottom are also a nice touch.

 

Would love some feedback. I have read everything I can find on the Mother Lode and I like the fact that guys that have used the Evans bag like this better.

I broke down and purchased the Pro Nine. I have to say it is fantastic. I almost went with the Mother Lode 29 but lack of internal pockets held me back. I know I can use plastic totes and bins to hold small items but why bother when the Pro Nine already had pockets that I could easily use. I also like the larger size on the Pro Nine over the Diamond. I am glad I went larger...3 inches is a lot less space for gear that I am using every inch of!
