ESPNRadio last night announced Roger Clemens will take the mound for the Sugarland Skeeters. Nolan Ryan predicts if he has a few quality outings it won't be long before the 50 y/o Rocket is at Minute Maid. Fastball topped out at 87. From Rocket to Scud, but Maddox had a long career with a weak FB, but amazing command and location. Maybe Rog is proving a point. Freddy Coleman brought up an interesting point...... Sosa and (gulp) Bonds will be on the HOF ballot with him next year. Maybe he's trying to give himself some distance from the known juicers and Congressional contemptor. Or maybe he's just trying to see if he still got it. Maybe he's just bored.

It entertains me that this was put in the Adult Rec section instead of the pro section

He probably will make it to the majors just because it is Houston and Jim Crane is probably looking for anything and everything to get attention right now.

A couple things I know will occur because of it: A) he will be the definition of a clubhouse cancer. Everyone on the Astros will hate him... B) If he ever picks up a bat, he is going to take a fastball to the ass and I will applaud the pitcher that does it.
