Okay were now into the first week of Men's Basketball, I use to be a much bigger fan, but haven't given basketball as much attention as I use to. I do have a utter and complete disdain for the NBA, and maybe some of that has trickles down to college, but I don't know.

Beginning next week I will also start picking some Basketball games. I will once again try to pick games which have meaning and will be close.

If you couldn't tell by my avatar I do have a favorite, and I will probably be picking a number of their games. But, I will go on record (we saw how that worked in football when I picked Clemson to win it all ) and pick the 'Heels to win it all this year.

Hey all,

I, too, am a UNC fan, but this year I will be cheering for U of A(rizona) since my nephew is a freshman on that team! Hopefully he will end up getting a decent amount of PT.

This is a little off topic but I do a grid for the NCAA tournament. It is just like a Super Bowl grid but the numbers equate to the last digit of the game score. When you get your two numbers they are good for all the games all the way through the bracket. For example, there are 32 games in the first round, so you have 32 chances with your two numbers. If anyone is interested, let me know with a PM or an email closer to that time. Many like it because you don't have to know anything about basketball. I was introduced to the concept three years ago and have run at least one grid each year since then. The other part I forgot to mention is that the games reduce the amount per game goes up.

If you haven't notice I haven't kept up with this. I will when we get a little further into the season. There are just too many games and it's too much to keep posted on a regular basis.

Even though I'm a UNC fan and I like to see them win, this season is going to be a cakewalk for them the way they walked over Notre Dame and Michigan State. The only team who will be able to beat them is them selves. If they decide to get slack at the wrong time is the only time I see them losing.
