NCAA football Week 12

Guys this was probably the toughest week to try and find games I thought were worth picking. No big games, no heated rivalries, a rare boring week in NCAA football.

Game of the Week

Vanderbilt @ Kentucky

Neither team is ranked Vandy went 5-0 stunning the country, but has since lost 4 in a row. Kentucky has played a tough schedule and really showed what they were made of against Georgia last week in a heartbreaking loss. Kentucky Wins.

Obligatory ECU Pick

ECU @ Southern Miss

I really thought So Miss would be better this year. But their losses have been tough losses against good teams. ECU is coming off a great tough must win against Marshall. My concern with ECU is are they going to go on cruise control after that win like they did on their 3 game skid after shocking the world. I think this will be a surprisingly good game but ECU wins.

Virginia Tech @ Miami

Here is another game which will be a really good one. Both teams are 3-2 in the ACC and 6-3 overall. All of their losses have been tough losses in good games (other than Miami vs Florida). Miami is in the heart of their tough schedule. VT has it a bit easier after this game with Duke and UVA. Both teams have to win to remain competitive in the ACC Coastal Division. I pick VT to win in a squeaker.

Texas A&M @ Baylor

I wanted to have 4 picks this week so I picked a cellar dweller game. Two good teams which are just out matched in their conference. They could go to the WAC or PAC 10 and be better teams. I think this could be a good game. Baylor is playing for pride, Texas A&M is playing to remain bowl eligible. Texas A&M wins.

Wow rough week 0-4. I haven't had this bad of a week yet. And to be honest the other games I was looking at I was wrong on too UNC v MD. I need to redeem myself this week. But I will not be doing it with lame picks like Citadel vs Florida.
