I'm in C and F6 is about 15 ft behind me.

F6 - Blue, can you move over

(During the game - I'm watching the pitcher - my back is to him)

Me - Which way?

F6 - That way

Totally unrelated to baseball but a buddy of mine was running followspot on a big circus in a huge arena. His assignment when needed was to hit the clown/asst ringmaster. The lighting director called for him to pick up the clown in the house. It is a 20,000 sear arena and he has no idea where in the house he is and the spots are eight stories up from the floor, so he asks,"Where?" To which she stridently answers,"Over there! Over there!" Not useful information.

Me: How about one step to the left.

Was doing a HS Varsity game once, I was in c and the shortstop asked me to move so I took 1 step to the left. Next pitch the batter hits a screamer that buzzes my right ear and proceeds to take the shortstops glove off his hand. After the play I made a point to tell him thanks for asking me to move. We both got a good laugh.

I had the opposite. SS asked me to move to the left and the batter ripped a shot that I almost needed my cup on the bases for. He sheepishly said "sorry blue".
