Hey All,

I just registered for the site after reading through some posts and thought I could learn a lot from you veteran umpires. My name is Jordan and live in the Portland, OR area. I'm only 19, but I started umpiring when I was twelve and absolutely love it! I do High School and Little League games in the local area and would one day like to do collegiate or pro ball. I know I can always learn something new so thanks in advance for any advice or constructive criticism one of you may give me.

Welcome Jordan, we're glad to have you. I really wish I'd started umpiring at a younger age. With your age, an open mind, hard work and determination you can make it to which ever level you aspire.

Welcome Jordan. I too started at the age of 12 and did it for several years but for some reason I got out of it and just now coming back.......... Oh yeah I remember now, work got in the way. Keep at it and maybe we will see you make it to the top.
