Worked today with a guy wearing the Officials Choice Dark Grey pants. All I can say is DON'T they are waaayy too dark!!! I was wearing my Honigs Poly Wools , not even close in color. These slacks are so dark they make the Davis pants look like Heather Grey in comparison.

He might as well been wearing black slacks. I can deal with the larger stripe on the black shirts, but this was so different it was very noticeable.

If you dont want too spend the money on the Honigs Poly, Get the Smitty charcoal Grey they at least almost match

What level ball were you working?

Last weekend I worked three 13U games wearing Charcoal Grey while partner wore Heather Grey pants.

The Umpire fashion police were no where to be found that day.

The Association doesn't care if pants match either.

No one from 6 teams or anyone else even said anything.

I do like to match my partner, but unless it is a HS Varsity Game or High Level youth tournament, I think some get carried away with this idea of matching partners to a "T". IMHO

Yeah, but don't buy Official's Choice slacks. In addition to being absurdly dark, they are also so narrow in the leg that they don't accommodate shin guards. They are ridiculous in more than one way and a waste of money at any price.

(These things are so tight that if you look closely, you can see the pattern of the guy's hexpad shorts.)
