One of my son's tournament games ended in a great situation last week, I loved it mostly because of the other team's head coach. R1 and R2, one out, batter pops up to second. BU, a guy I know and umpire with, calls infield fly, now two outs. Ball hits the ground and R1 takes off for second with R2 still standing there, the classic deer in the headlights. R1 gets to second sees R2 still there turns to run back to first and tagged out by F4, three outs, game over.

I hate to use absolutes, but...

There are never holes on a catch in the outfield in 2-man.

That's like saying "I hate to say I told you so, but..." or

"What I'm about to say may sound offensive (insert "stupid, racist", etc.), but..."

Meaning - I don't think you hate using absolutes all that much.
