F-Word in Football game

I know the F Word flies around in Pro-Football and other sports but watching the Indy game yesterday I was shock at how the one player was calling the other a M-Effer a couple of different times and it was not filtered out for TV.

These players get flag for little things during the game but not for this? It happened right in front of a referee.

I know what you mean. I'm kind of amazed at prime time tv where cop shows and doctor shows can show massive amounts of blood and violence to women and children but the hint of a whisper of a shadow of a curve of a hip is right out. It's weird.

Wait a minute - You want the players penalized for cursing during the game? Grown men? Really? Not me. Words are just that - words. It's only when they take on a negative meaning due to how they're used that anyone should care what words someone uses.

Now, not filtering it out on TV is an entirely different issue - one that could be discussed ad infinitum with no real resolution, but flagging a pro football player for dropping the F-bomb would be (IMHO) ridiculous.
