I purchased one of these and even though the list price was cheeper at smiteez with shipping it was actually cheaper for me at purchase officials.

For a good price cheaper than the majestic this is a great jacket I love it.

I went Majestic, and I almost love it (for the few games around here that I'll ever get to wear it), but I just thought that for some guys, the Smitty's a really good knock-off for $20 less. Just throwing it out there.

Read the MidWestUmp review. Sounds like they are very similar. However, I have had the chance to try on the majestic (for some reason or another we have a large navy jacket at work and for the life of me I cant figure out why) and OH MAN OH MAN is that not the nicest umpire jacket I have ever tried.

A site called Smiteez.com has the Smitty brand knock-off of the Majestic Therma Base full-zip for a mere $59.95 plus shipping.

Go here

Smitty is a local and a member of our association. I have not had great success ordering from him. He forgets things.

Maybe other people are involved in servicing his web site orders.

I don't think so. This year he was running a special on our association's hats (logo). He sent out an email with the offer. Go to the website & order, he will deliver to the first meeting. I added a belt to my hat order and received a response that both would be delivered at the meeting. I got to the meeting and only the hat was there. My CC had already been charged.

I had a similar thing happen 2 years ago with him. It's his offer to deliver to the meeting (for free) and then the order is incomplete. I've tried to use him because he's a local guy, but "fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice..."
