It's a plate shoe...not something Prada is going to be advertising any time soon. The 460s have a large metatarsal guard and are supposed to fit truer to size.

I'm not looking for fashion, and I understand all plate shoes are ugly. Reviews on Ump-Attire.com have a few guys saying you still need to size up 1/2. I'm not sure I'm seeing an almost $50 increase in value w/ the 460 ........ (amount based on the fact that I can have 450s shipped to me for $77)

I LOVE my 460's. They are noticeably lighter and they fit true to size on length and run a bit narrow. Which is great for me since I need narrow shoes! These things feel like running shoes compared to my 450's...I would never go back...

did you size up 1/2 for the 460s??

Nope...I had 14's in the 450's and bought 14's in the 460's. I had a chance to try them on at our State Clinic so I knew fit would be fine. I am a true 14...I have Mizuno Infinity Trainers for base shoes and they run a touch short...same with some of the Reezigs I have tried on. That is one reason I am hesitant about pulling the trigger on them for field shoes...

And yes the 450's were a touch too short, like everyone suggested you should size up on them. Of course I found this out too late...I didn't find this site until I had my first round of gear purchased. :notworthy:

I tried the 10.5 in the 450s but they were too tight, so I know 450 is an 11 ....I wouldn't be too sure on the 460 though

I love my 460s I have worn 450s and reebok magistrates. The 460s are the best of the bunch followed by the reeboks. I have 11s in all three, the 450s are a little snug. The 460s are very roomy.

Picked off 450s for $69 from Purchase Officials .... 11 EE, I went up on the width ....BAM! PERFECT! Just don't like the 460s ...and these feel room and comfy, and ....... $30+ cheaper :D
