I'm trying to unwind before returning to work tomorrow so I turn on MLB Network and not 10 seconds after I turn the game on I hear the announcer (unknown at this point) say when talking about Pena being hit in the first game of the double-header vs the Yankees, "It was called a foul ball because the hand was on the bat and the hand is considered part of the bat"

Most of the color guys these days are explayers and it astounds me that they could have gone through a entire career and have no clue about the sport they played. How many jobs can you train to do since you were 5/6 and not learn the parameters of your job.
