CATCHER falls into dugout

Just saw the Orioles catcher make a foul catch fall to one knee on the second and third dugout step.

The umpires awarded second to the runner standing on first.

I never saw it in a MLB game, but it was funny hearing the announcers on TV (Phillies crew) butcher the reason for the award.

No, it was the Philly feed and I can't remember exactly what was said, but it was dumb.

I always find in amazing that the play-by-play guy doesn't learn the rules since he is the "nerd" of the group and always has to real in the color guy when they go off. :smachhead:
