  1. I have a pair of solid black base Zig shoes, worn 8-10 times. They are size 12.
  2. Even if you order up in size in the new GD polywools, and say you lose some weight and they become a little big in the pant, you can always have them taken up some to fit better. The new GD polywools have held up great this college season and also doing some high school ball. I would recommend them to those looking to purchase a good quality polywool pant.
  3. I have Honigs poly wools, the GD pants and the new GD poly wools, I just got in. The Honigs poly wools of 2-3 years ago are great, but the new reviews on the current ones are very mixed. The regular GD Charcoal pants are great, I wear them quite a bit in the summer when doing Legion. I just got the new GD poly wools and I really like them. I wear a size 40 in the regular GD and a size 42 in the Honigs poly wools. I had to order a 44 for GD poly wools because they are the flying cross pant. I tried them on with shirts tucked in and belt on. They feel great. They are going to be hemmed this week and I am looking forward to wearing them this year. Everyone has their own opinion about pants. we wear poly wools for everything we do except summer ball. But in our association we have several college umpires and even a MLB umpire so that is what we want our guys to wear even in high school.
  4. No, they accept any credit card. Okay, guys, I got my size 44 GD Poly Wools in. They fit very well!! Remember I wear a size 40 in the regular GD pants. I went up two sizes to the 44 for the poly wools and they fit great. Maybe a little big in the waist but with a shirt or two tucked in, and a belt on, they are comfortable. Compared them to my Honigs poly wools and they are basically the same color. Basically looking at it you can't tell any difference in color whatsoever. I really like the feel and the way they fit!!
  5. In the regular GD pants I wear a 40, I wear these in the summer a lot. I have plenty of room in these. I ordered a size 40 in the new GD Poly wools and they fit tight in the waist. I have ordered size 44 in these and will see how they fit. My thoughts are the same as gnhbua93 on this, order at least 2 sizes up and if a little too big, have them taken up some by a tailor/seamstress. Once I get mine in I will post how they fit.
  6. I also ordered base and plate pants, didn't have but one issue, that is they run small. They fastened but they were tight in the waist. I have not sent back because I am contemplating ordering Honigs, but can't see my size on my honigs pants anymore and can't remember if they run big, small or true to size. If I reorder the GD poly wools I will go up 2 sizes in both plate and base and if they are too big, I will have them taken up some. I do however like the look, feel of the GD Poly Wools.
