Charcoal, Heather, ( I prefer my white and pink pants..... ) Truth be told, I purchased some nice pants only to have them obtain "pink spots" from the scrub-n-bubbles when I clean my shoes there.... AAA GGG HHH !!!! You shall be fine...

Not to worry !!!! BUT, I WOULD make a copy ( or 2 ) for the participation form and bring it with you - JUST IN CASE Brad needs it ( again... ) Actually, I always bring it with me JUST IN CASE, nothing like being a good boy scout....

And, I just bought another one for a trip I shall be making to Florida ( to umpire ) next month as well as a trip to California I shall be making in November !!

See you there week one and then am ALSO one of the few who spends the entire summer there. SO enjoyable, I learn a lot also !!

Greetings !! If 2015 is the same as last year, leave pink and "camo" and US flag jersey's home, because Lou will not let you wear those anyway !!! I would be SURE to pack black t-shirts and grey SHORTS ( in case your pants rip ), in fact, I always bring 2 pairs of plate and 2 pair of base pants... And, a black hat !!! Last year, a NUMBER of umps walked out with wearing a black jersey, but, a ( dark !! ) navy blue hat and Lou went balistic !!!!!! Don't forget extra shoe-laces... Remember, you are no longer "home" !!! BUT, you shall find that the vast majority of your fellow umpires are MORE than glad to share what we are able !!! When you arrive, and Friday afternoon / EARLY evening ( like 5-6 p.m. ) IS the best !!!!!!! , you shall meet fellow umpires from around the country and just listen to the "vets" ( to a degree, yes, stay away from the "politics".... ) and they can tell you what to do, where to go, etc. FOR example, many of us head to a local dollar store for shaving cream, tooth-paste and other assundries that may have been either forgotten or just left behind... THAT said, be sure to bring a few bucks - duhhhhh - not only for the above, but, many of us DO go out on Saturday morning for breakfast ( CDP does not provide breakfast or lunch on Saturday !!! )

Greetings !!! Cannot wait to see "y'all" when you arrive! Me? shall be there week 1 and DO try to be there the entire summer. Do I take "85 bunks" - NO !!!! But, we DO all get along and we DO help each other as best as humanly possible - yes, one big "Blue Familia" !!!! And, as my season here in Ohio begins in late April, really have not the time to count down to CDP days !!
