  1. Speaking of patches @th3 what border color do the varsity guys use for the American flag on the back of navy/black? I would like to get them put on all my shirts and jackets in respect for my country but also all the fallen heroes that served in our military, police and fire branches. God Bless them all! True story I would not buy my house if it didn't have a flag pole! I'm not kidding my house passed on drive up to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I got two scrims in the pass two days, but man jv baseball is painful! Yet I know they are trying their best to get better so I make sure I bring my "a" game for them. I was told last night by partner that he hardly sees a jv umpire take charge and be so consistent with my game management and timing! Whoop that's all that 8 yr old and under beatings I got last year from @th3 lol.... Just kidding, it has been working aau summer leagues with varsity players and umpires that made me better today and hopefully the future! Can't thank the guys enough for showing me the ropes and now I'm trying to imply it all back on the field. So all NJSBUA umpires I thank you! Dugout Lip?

Rule in NJSIAA for NJ High school no coaches or players allowed in door way like that anymore.....coach got a ball in the eye socket last year. Also this year adult coaches must have base coaching helmets.
  4. @JaxRolo that was the other one i was thinking of...i love it use to use it until I realized the free stuff had more enough space for my files. If I wanted to back up a lot of stuff and secure documents that is def the program I would use.
  5. skydrive, dropbox, anything that is a backed up program in the cloud would have saved your butt...btw I'm an IT professional, usually we do not just wipe computers, either 1. you weren't suppose to be saving locally so they didn't care 2. somebody didn't pass the message along to you about them wiping computers 3. IT guys were careless and we not thinking correctly.
  6. Hahahaha good point but if I said shot that down you think I murdered my wife lol, then I be umpiring cage yard baseball Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Dan I'm not sure what you are asking but I would have the batter out on the strike three and being the f2 didn't have a fair chance to put out the runner at second from b2 interference on swing that would lead me to declare the runner out as well. Is that what you are asking?
  8. I would be a part of the very few who will not bitch! I did not complain I was kinda happy personally they choose black as the alt color, I don't like powder blue reminds me of softball LOL sorry to anybody I offended. I just received my black hats, jackets, ball bags and black shirt, the only one that complained was my wife LOL. I Nipped that in the butt real quick!
  9. Great read! Thanks guys I like the MYTAB i wrote it down and boy does it make more sense to call that, and easier to comprehend correctly. Here is the video of the Giants batting out of order:
  10. Pretty sure this is what they meant to say but failed at it.
  11. LMAO me too, they went to the timing play of when it occurred not when appeal happened apparently and the runner at 2nd must have been SLOWWWWWW, hey at least they got one run HAHA wow scary actually SMH in disbelief
  12. Personally I understand where you are coming from in this situation. I have done number of LL games from 12 and under by myself. Hear is my trick to stopping that from happening, you can try it as well. I clear left to see the play at second in fair territory then after the play is made and I make the call on the play. I then jog back to the center of the diamond between pitcher and catcher. Thats where I turn and look at the pitcher and put my mask on quickly then I walk back to the plate to make sure it is clean (if batter is in box I call time to kill everything to clean it anways) and I ask the batter to step out until everybody is setup again. I ask the batter to come back in with my hand up (sometimes verballizing time; worse case scenario) then I put the ball back in play. Yes is it over kill? Maybe but has worked for me to keep ensure, I am ready, safe and everything is ready for play. I get paid to be ready and do what is in the best interest of the kids playing and number one thing is to get it right. All I'm honestly doing is putting a wall between myself and the plate, most youngesters realize that. Success rate of this has been 100% since I still have all my teeth
