What's the big craze with these masks? I'm watching Boston and Houston at the moment and Guccione (sp?) is wearing one and I've also seen others. Are they more protective? Lighter? Just trying to figure out why everyone is switching to those atrocious masks.

I’m in search of a Nike Harness. I’d prefer new if posssible. Anybody got access to one?

They are pretty awesome and they are now ON SALE! I just ordered mine last month and now they're on sale.

I got the Mizuno plate shoes and they look and feel nice out of the box. I'm gonna wear them tomorrow and pray no catchers spike me this weekend and scratch them up.

OK so next question lol...are they true to size?

I'm pretty interested in getting the Mizuno plate shoes because they look so similar to the NB 450s. My question to you guys is were the NBs genuine or synthetic leather? I think I read that the Mizunos are synthetic. If they're anything like the latest NBs (460s?) then I don't want them. I have a white scuff from a ball that I can't get off and also a cut from a catcher stepping back on them.

I'd go Champion over this. I think the price is lower plus you get hard shell.

I ordered the Champion. Hopefully I can give an update soon. I hope it's lower than the Douglas, TW West Vest and Force 3 V1 that I've experimented with.

Does everyone actually carry a "back up" mask? I have a black Nike Ti and a Silver Low Profile Ti but I always find myself wearing the Nike and am tempted to get rid of the Wilson. Someone sell me on how likely it is that I'll damage my Nike in game and need a "back up."

2. Where you headed that you have to pack so light?

I have two pairs of pads I'm looking to sell. One pair of used Nike with slight wear and a pair of Tan Team Wendys which have never been used, only washed to remove the logo. I'm asking $75 shipped for the Nike and $40 shipped for the Team Wendy. DM me your phone number for pics.

Am I late to the party? I've seen people here brag on the Force 3 masks but I've never heard of the technology being offered in a bucket. Has anyone ever heard of and/or worn this thing? I saw it for sale on Ebay.

I've been really nervous lately and after seeing Estabrook in a helmet under his traditional mask and thinking about how much I love my kid and don't want to get seriously injured by a follow-through or slipped bat, I'm interested in a bucket. Is anyone looking to part with one for a reasonable price?

I wear Force 3 shins with Combo Polyspandex instead of Plates and they work well. I highly recommend taking that route especially if you're in shape and your shirts are tailored too.
