E on the stat copier. added 9/23--and this past sunday or monday at the latest, per mlb 2025 media guide, umpires for the Wild Card and Division Series must be notified one week before the end of the regular season of their assignments, unless the policy changed, and that will also be the pool of candidates for the LCS and WS. now, has someone been on concussion protocol or other reason and forced to miss a WC or DS, but did get an LCS assignment, who knows. and those who do not have the plate before the season ends or have replay, and do not work the plate in the WC or DS, and then get game 6 or 7 in an LCS or WS, have gone quite a while without working the plate at all.
