But congrats to Charlie. Quote

But congrats to Charlie. pretty much (not saying one was missed) in more recent times no umpire working 140 or more games in a season has not been hired at some point, ie tomlinson during 2024 after a 140 + season. and of the 2 you mentioned with hanahan looking like being more of the phenom, who have also been up all year, it would be just a matter of time hopefully, although there are no guarantees on anything. it is not where you start but where you finish that counts. and dont forget mr knight started as a callup in 2001 and 675 games later in 2011 went full tlme after having a 150 game call up season in 2009. and checking opening day march 27 in washington and marquez with the only TBA for a 4th crew member showing on the early preseason crew charts, and it ending up being Ramos, was that a prelude/planned/tell sign (james bond)? to what 'might' be going to happen later this season. only the shadow knows. Makes sense and Ramos def would have been at the top of the list. Felt the hires in the past of Mackay and Clemons weren’t expected. Hope Bacon and Hanahan are next up. Campos was up almost full time years ago it seemed like then he had that final year in AAA when he wasn’t up at all for that year before he got released. Quote
