Hey everyone,

In on my last exam, which is the NFHS Mechnics Exam. I did the refpreps mechanics lecture but that was like opening a firehose on my mind.

That being said is there an online guide to assist in learning fastpitch softball mechanics? I found some older documents dated 2011 but not sure if they are relevant still today.

Was hoping there was some online stuff to help me muddle through.

I have an in person class in February but need this for my card. Any stuff you can share would be great.

No answers, just reference material.

Not NFHS specific, but look into USA Softball materials.  Most orgs are just defaulting to USA because they don't want to put the resources into reinventing the wheel.  I may be speaking a little out of turn and may be corrected, but I believe even NCAA largely defaults to USA instead of creating their own.

Just curious, where are you that they have a mechanics exam?

I'm sorry for the delayed response...I missed the question and just revisited this thread.

I'm in Ohio and tested for our state athletic association.

It was a three part test. 50 questions each.

Part 1 was basically test on organization overview regarding their standards etc.

Part 2 was Rules

Part 3 was Scenarios and Mechanics
