My umpire friends and I make an annual White Sox game trip and we went on Friday.

I'm manning the grill and a couple guys come down the aisle and the one guy looks at me and says "Hey, I know you. You're an umpire!" I recognize his hat as a local Christian HS and say "Yeah, we're all umpires!" We all saw several travel ball shirts that we had umpired. Ran into a father and son from a local Babe Ruth organization. Then ran into the former Men's league president.

 

Guess you can't take five umpires to a game a half hour away and not know a few people!
