The design looks interesting almost bought it but Amazon is all our of the black pads version

It's... awkward.   The mask itself is solid wire, not hollow, so that means more weight.   The view is different than any other mask I've ever tried.  The bar on the top eye port is at an angle instead of straight-around.  

The frame has a bumpy-finish to it.  I actually kind of like it.  The solid wire means it should handle impacts well and will have to take a wallop to bend.

The pads are excellent!  I use them on an Adidas or Nike frame (navy for HS) and love them.  I haven't taken an impact yet surprisingly (no jinxing allowed) but they are very comfortable and I am confident the air system will be protective.  WindPact really needs to start making these pads for other masks!

I guess I should have described that if I say different, right?  It's not unlike other mask views completely, but I think it's because that top eye bar is unique.   Instead of a normal wrap-around from L to R for the top eye bar, the bar bends up out of your vision more.  It actually gives you a seemingly wider view.  I honestly think it's a bit larger than other comparable frames.

The middle bar is designed to disappear like All Star's does also. I think it opens up the view more along with the larger eye port due to the shorter wrap-around eye port.

It's just different though. By that I mean it is a one-of-a-kind, unique view from this mask.  It's not bad, but not your normal, run of the mill mask either.  I'd buy the pads any day and use them gratefully, but I would pass on the mask itself personally.   I don't really think it's for us umpires - and yes, I do realize it's designed for catchers.
