Don't envy you NCAA guys who now have to go hardline on that square windup pitcher who repositions to sideways with too much of a forward step with the free foot to get sideways. Once you call it on some as in the NCAA video you are going to get upset pitching coaches that will want you to eagle eye a less obvious repositioning foot move on the opposing pitcher. Most square windup pitchers that like to reposition sideways in their delivery have some forward motion in their free foot even if the motion is mostly to the side.

Those were similar to the thoughts I had watching that video.  I don't see the advantage gained by taking a step forward with the free foot when beginning the windup motion, and it's just another booger for us to pick.
