Continuous action?

This Rec Ball thread has me wondering whether NCAA uses "continuing action" to allow an appeal after the initial appeal throw is misplayed or goes out of play:

I don't want to mix and match codes in one thread. So would NCAA allow an appeal after a continuous action appeal throw went out of play or was misplayed and a runner advanced?
