I'm curious if @blue32 got one, and if so - did it end up coming like the one you got...

I am in the same boat as several of y'all. I have always been a balls on top 3/2/2 guy. I switched to the Gerry Davis metal ones back in 2009 when I got back into umpire...had used the larger plastic ones before. Love the metal...whoever made it for them in 3/2/2 with balls on top quit about 18 months ago. They cannot get anyone to make them anymore. I bought a Champion black plastic one from Purchase...love the optic color of the dials, but the silver on Ball/Strike/Out was gone after game one.

I am thinking about trying the UDC as well. Kind of like the Champion, but not sold yet. I always wished I could get at metal 3/2/2 that was better quality than the one Gerry Davis sold...they only lasted me 1-2 seasons and I rotate 2 at a time. Now I just wish I could buy more of the low quality ones.
