Exactly!  Same goes with fair...

In the same game, there was a sharp grounder hit close to the 1st base line with R1, no outs.  Cabrera picked the ball up just before the bag (it appeared by the angle on TV to be a fair ball), stepped on 1st base and threw to 2nd base to F6 who applied the tag to R1...double-play, right??  Nope...

U1 pointed fair and PU called it foul.  Yikes!

This is a terminology piece.  The batted ball at this point is neither fair nor foul.  

Yes, the ball was at one point in foul territory, but it was not a foul ball, as seen in the video.
