Wilson Guardian leg guards

Saw the new (to me anyway) Wilson Guardian shins. Very good looking design and seem to be cooler and lighter. Has anyone tried these or heard anything about them?

I haven't worn them in a game or under pants but I've messed around with them a bit at a state meeting and tried them on over my pants and I wasn't too impressed. I think the protection wouldn't be a huge issue but they felt very bulky. Even more so than my Wilson Pros. They were pretty light but I think there are better options out there if you're looking for a lighter and cooler shin guard.  Davishins are a good option and a far less bulky. If only they didn't have that free floating knee that can cause pants to hang up on them.
